Not sure if you’ve heard of this website before, but I love to peek in on it once-in-a-while http://www.designspongeonline.com. They have a section for DIY projects – that is probably my most favorite section. I came across this stampede of hand-crafted, beautifully painted, racing across the room horses. Immediately, I could envision these horses running through the living room leading you into another room of the apartment in all their colors and patterns. They are fairly simple to make, you just need cardboard or a thick bristol board, paints or markers, and buttons. I’ve only made a few so far, but I’m hoping to make another 20 or so of them.
